Introduction to Library Resources for Emmanuel College BSN Program: Source Citations

Emmanuel's BSN Program requires papers be formatted and cited using the Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA), which is available for in-library use at the Reference Desk.

"APA Style provides guidelines to help writers determine the appropriate level of citation and how to avoid plagiarism and self-plagiarism" (American Psychological Association, n.d.). See the discussion of "Appropriate Level of Citation" by the APA.

  • Write out your citations as you proceed so that they will be correct and complete.
