Abstract: The collection contains the minutes, agendas, and related materials for the College Corporation from 1921-2007. The records pertain to various meetings and correspondences between different groups in collaboration with the Corporation, as well as legal issues surrounding the ownership of the college.

Access Restrictions: 1) The collection is restricted for a period of twenty-five years from date of creation. 2) Requests for permission to view material from this collection should be discussed with the Office of the President. It will issue written consent to view the collection in the Archives.

Biography/History: The Emmanuel College Corporation oversaw the administrative aspects of Emmanuel College from 1921 until it was dissolved in 2007. The corporation was comprised of sisters from the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur.

Scope and Content: The College Corporation Records collection contains materials relating to the College Corporation from 1921-2007, with most of the records from 1972-2007. The collection includes meeting notes, minutes and agendas, correspondences, and information about members of the Corporation and Board of Trustees. There are also materials relating to the bylaws and administration of the corporation.
