Extent: 0.812 linear feet and 2,303.57 megabytes (2 boxes)

Scope and Content: This series contains two subseries which are taped interviews and index cards circa 1978-1979 that were both used to create Mary Friel’s dissertation. The cassettes were used to create interviews with different people on campus to collect information on the history of the College. Some of the cassettes have specific date but others do not. Within the box of the index cards Mary Friel separated them by tabs to help her create her dissertation, those tabs being Archdiocesan Archives, Boston History, College History, Emmanuel: Primary Sources, Epilogues Ethos and Statistics – Higher Education. Each of these tabs hold a different number of index cards in between them and hold information that Mary Friel collected over time. The cassette tapes were migrated to a digital format in 2016. Transcripts of interviews are available upon request.
