Citation Generators
Many students find citation generators immensely helpful. It is important to know that citation generators cannot think and adjust--they can only create a citation with the available inputs. You are still responsible for the accuracy of your citations. If you are going to use one, ZoteroBib is fast, free, reliable, and ad-free.
- Zoterobib (for MLA citations)After searching for your source or manually entering the information, select Modern Language Association, 9th edition from the citation options.
- Click on the source to update information.
- Click on the quotation mark icon to the right of your source for the in text citation. Include page number(s) for direct quotes.
- Copy individual citations or the complete list.

The best way to effectively manage your citations is to use a citation manager. RefWorks is one tool you can use. It allows you to easily gather, organize, store, and share sources and to instantly generate citations and bibliographies. Emmanuel College pays for accounts for all students.
