Description of Assignment:
Early in the semester and in preparation for your final project, you will choose one media figure to follow. The chosen media figure should be active on at least one media platform, giving you the opportunity to theorize their use of media and its effects. Your research may be done individually or with 1-2 other students and will culminate in a final traditional academic research paper (with multimedia elements) or a creative project such as a video essay or podcast (with a written Artist’s Statement).
The Media Figure Project is worth 25% of your total final grade.
