Scope and Content: This series contains the Institutional Master Plans (IMP) (and related material) that were produced for and in conjunction with the College. The IMP is a statement of proposed institutional development that has to be submitted to the Boston Planning and Development Agency (formerly the Boston Redevelopment Authority). An IMP describes an institution’s existing property and future development plans for the duration of the IMP, typically 10 years. Proposed institutional projects must be consistent with an existing IMP. If necessary, IMPs can be amended to add or change descriptions of development plans.
